Rachael Elizabeth Dunn Harris was 1 of 8 children born to CW Dunn and Lizzie Williams Dunn. She learned how to be the the diplomat of the family in Meridian, Mississippi.

The 3rd child in the family and an older sister to Elizabeth - Claribel - died from diphtheria in 1901 at 9 yrs old. Then the 1st child born - Gordye May - married Roy Lee Hard, had a son and died from complications of childbirth 6 months later in 1905 at 20 yrs old. Needless to say, Elizabeth and her remaining sister - Etta Lee Dunn - were very close throughout their lives.

Elizabeth married Willie Edward "Bill" Harris on April 23, 1918. They had 2 children:
*Lucille Elizabeth Harris Pearson (fabulous aunt)
*Martha Jane Harris Price (perfect mother)

Elizabeth always had pretty fingernails, painted red. And played the piano by ear, no formal training. A fabulous and fun grandmother! Wow, is she ever missed!
