SANDRA ANN (BeSAW) McLAUGHLIN
AUSTIN — Sandra Ann (BeSaw) McLaughlin, of Austin, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 in an Austin hospital, surrounded by her family and a close friend. She was 72.
Sandra was born Dec. 28, 1938 in Gainesville to Donald and Jody BeSaw who were in the restaurant business in Gainesville and Saint Jo for many years.
She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1957.
Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Onion Creek Memorial Park in Austin.
A visitation is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2011.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Gene McLaughlin; three children, son, Kevin McLaughlin and his fiance Lisa Hyden; daughter, Kathleen McLaughlin Battle and husband Frank Battle and daughter, Grace; son, Mike McLaughlin and his wife, Nicci and their daughter, Kelci; and a brother, Larry BeSaw, all of Austin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Austin Peel & Son Funeral Home in Austin.
