Wilma S. Fessenden, age 76, passed away July 22, 1991 at her home.

She was born February 11, 1915 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Charles A. and Augusta B. Madsen Jones. She married Edward Fessenden October 23, 1971 in Salt Lake City. She was a member of the LDS Church and the Relief Society.

She is survived by her husband, Ben; children, John Henry Cox, Mrs. Dan (Patsyann) Wintch; stepchildren, Delores Fessenden; Richard Fessenden; Donna Shaffer; Farren Fessenden; Doris Peterson; Diana Hamilton; and Gloria Shipp; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Burton; and Phyllis Burton. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Leroy Cox, stepdaughter, Carma Beverly Cox, eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 25, 1991 at 1 p.m. at the Taylorsville 18th Ward, 4310 South 3200 West. Viewing will be held at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
