AUTO CRASH KILLS 3
Pontiac - Three persons, all related, were killed early today when a speeding car slammed into the rear of a vehicle stopped at a red light and then bounced into another car.

Killed were Robert J. Gibson, 22; Jesse Henderson, 52 and Henderson's son Jerry, 29, all of Union Lake. Gibson's sister is Jerry Henderson's wife.

Gibson was riding in a car driven by Donald Adkins, 23 Union Lake. The Adkins car slammed into the rear of the Henderson car, then crashed into a car driven by Roy Phillips, 24, Pontiac. Phillips and his wife, Janice, 19 sustained minor injuries.

Adkins was hospitalized in fair condition.

Pontiac police said they would seek a manslaughter warrant against Atkins. They said Adkins told them he was not aware of the identity of the occupants of the Henderson car when he it it.
