Word was received in Tipton Sunday, of the death at Windfall of Mrs. Louise Forrer, age 68, wife of Daniel C. Forrer, the end coming Sunday morning following an illness of several months from heart complications.
Mrs. Forrer was horn and reared in the Windfall community,
her parents, Louis and Orpha Perry being pioneer settlers in
Wildcat township. She was married to Daniel C. Forrer December
14, 1885, and two daughters were born to the couple, one
Mrs. Ethel Wonbaker of Calwa, Cal., dying at that place two
weeks ago. The shock of the daughter's death is believed to
have hastened the end of the mother.
Mrs. Forrer was one of the splendid women of earlier Windfall,
where she and her husband made their home, following their
marriage, for several years. For the past several years she and her husband had resided in California. They returned to Windfall in July and Mrs. Forrer had been in poor health since returned. Besides the husband, another daughter survives, Mrs. J. C. Hadley of Winslow, Arizona along with five grandchildren.
