Obituary, The Oklahoman, November 3, 1941
Frank Redding, 65-year old operator of the Redding Hardware Company in Oklahoma City and former co-owner of a cottom mill and elevator in Spencer for 13 years, died Sunday at his home, 1308 Northeast 12, following an illness of several months. Redding was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, and came to Oklahoma in 1903 from Carroll County, Missouri. He came to Oklahoma City from Spencer in 1918. He had been a member of the Board of Deacons of the First Christian Church for many years, and was a 32 degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Margaret, Ardmore, and Mildred, Norman; two sisters, Miss Ora Redding, Glendale, California; and Mrs. G. G. Brunson, 7 Northeast 7; and two brothers, B. W., Glendale, California; and L. B., Bloom, Kansas. Rites will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
