James T. Youngblood Marysville Mr. James T. Youngblood, 85, of Marysville, died Monday, December 14, 2009. He was born February 6, 1924 in Detroit to the late Daniel and Loretta Youngblood. He married Edna M. Cook May 24, 1947 in Detroit. Mr. Youngblood retired from Detroit Receiving Hospital. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville American Legion Post #449, Moose Lodge 158 and was also a life member of the Lexington VFW Post 2382 and Knights of Columbus. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Edna; three sons, Thomas (Rosalie) Youngblood of St. Clair Shores, Gerald (Mary) Youngblood of Marysville and Paul Youngblood of Grosse Pointe Park; a daughter, Marilyn Dillon of St. Clair Shores; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Daniel, Charles, Bernard and Jack and two sisters, Mary Jaszczuk and Therese Quinn.
