George W. Clanin, Jr. 69 Columbus, Ohio died Tuesday in his home.
Mr. Clanin was retired after 36 years from the Harry Welnitz Co. Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of the Chicago Ave Christian Church, Columbus, Ohio and was and Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Harriet; two sons, Robert and Clifford, both of Columbus, Ohio; six daughters, Elana Askew, Shirley Clanin, Marsha Abbot, Mary King, Kathy Evans, and Donna Wright all of Columbus, Ohio. A brother Clifford, Columbus, Ohio; 29 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Chicago Ave Christian Church, Columbus, Ohio, with the Rev. C. Michael Cunningham officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at the The Rutherford-Shroyer Funeral Home, 1278 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
