EVODIE H. “SALLY” PALMER
Memorial services for Evodie H. “Sally” Palmer were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 1, 1994 at the First Congregational Church. The Rev. Nancy Tiegreen, interim pastor, conducted the services.
Mrs. Palmer, 81, of 110 Steamboat No. 26, Rock Springs, died at about 7 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 1994 at her home.
A longtime resident of Rock Springs, Mrs. Palmer had been in ill health the past several months.
She was born Aug. 19, 1912 in Marshall, Colo., the daughter of the late Frank [sic] and Evodie Aillert Bodaine [sic]. She attended schools in Boulder and Marshall, Colo.
She married Kenneth Palmer in Las Vegas, Jan. 8, 1971 [sic].
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Palmer of Rock Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Margaret) Buh of Green River, Mrs. Richard (Lynn) Sage of Rock Springs and Mrs. Jerome (Jean) Purcell of Rock Springs; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by three sons, Bill and Bob, who died in infancy and Kenneth Beveridge who died on May 7, 1993; one daughter, Lorraine Bears; two brothers; three sisters and two grandchildren.
