August Teesch, 73. Town of Cato farmer died at 2:30 o'clock this morning at the homestead, Manitowoc route 4, of a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the family home and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran church, the Rev. E. C. Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken from the Pfeffer Funeral home to the family home on Saturday afternoon, and it will lie in state at the home until hour of the funeral.

Mr. Teesch was born in DuPage county, Illinois, on June 15, 1869, and when he was six years old the family moved to this county. Mr. Teesch had lived here since. On May 31, 1900 he married Bertha Ott. She survives him, along with one daughter, Mrs. Daniel Kretsch of Manitowoc Rapids; three sons, Elmer ot Cato, George of Manitowoc and Roland on the homestead; nine grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Marie Drews and Mrs. Minnie Bartz of Two Rivers, Mrs. August Begalke and Mrs. Martha Luebke ot Manitowoc, and Miss Ida Teesch of Chicago.
