Born July 1, 1956, in Burlington he was the son of Donald Lee and Patsy Ruth Ballard Leasure Sr. On Dec. 27, 1977, he married Charlotte Graham. They later divorced.
Mr. Leasure was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, pool, music and a good cigar.
Survivors include four sons, Donald Lee Leasure III of Modesto, CA, and Lewy L. Leasure, Thomas Leasure and Adam Leasure all of Burlington; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Leasure of Burlington and Billy Leasure of California; three sisters, Shirley Bowman of Burlington, Susan Easley of Henderson, TN, and Sheryl Renetti of CA; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Ann “Patsy” Leasure.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Prugh’s Chapel in Burlington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral Friday.
The funeral for Mr. Leasure will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Prugh’s Chapel with the Rev. Richard Dutzer officiating. Interment of ashes will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
