Funeral of Long Active Church Woman Held Today
Funeral services For Mrs. Sarah Ann Reeves Campbell, widow of Charles R. Campbell and mother of Laura R. Campbell, were held in St. Mark's Church at noon today. She was one of the organizers of that church when its members worshiped in a little frame structure at Second and A streets southeast.
Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ann Reeves of Philadelphia and had been a resident of the District since childhood. She was 83 years of age and died after a short illness Thursday at her home, 220 Third street southeast.
