Frank L. Martinez, 62, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2011. He was born in Pueblo on Dec. 1, 1948. He is survived by his sons, Frankie and Eli Martinez; daughter, Margaret (Rick) Dahms; two grandchildren, Ricky and Mia; brothers, Harry (Lorraine) Martinez, Phil (Cathy) Martinez, Ronnie (Mona) Martinez, Sandy "Steve" (Lori) Martinez; sister, Roberta (Darrell) Gonzales; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother. Frank retired from the U.S. Army as a sergeant first class (E-7). He was a highly decorated Vietnam veteran. Frank really enjoyed fishing, camping, the TV program, COPS. Beloved Denver Broncos fan. Frank was a loving and caring man, always wanting to help wherever he could. Frank was well loved. Frank will be greatly missed. Viewing service, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011; funeral service, 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, both services at Angelus Chapel. Pastor Roger Trujillo will officiate. Full military honors at graveside, 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, Fort Lyon National Cemetery.
