Beulah attended Phillips High School in Phillips, TX (home of the Blackhawks). Her fondest memories of high school include being voted homecoming queen and playing the bass drum in the band. Upon graduating in 1946, Beulah trained as a nurse to further the war effort.
After a short courtship, Beulah married Doyle Melvin Davis of Amarillo, TX on July 4, 1949. In 1966, they moved from the Texas Panhandle to Reese Valley in northern Nevada, where they settled into farming and ranching and raised six children. They were married forty-six years, until Doyle's death in 1995. In her later years, Beulah enjoyed cooking reading, old-time country music and her dachshund, Dixie.
Beulah is preceded in death by her husband Doyle Davis and her daughter Loretta Davis, as well as seven siblings. She is survived by her children: Debbie (Wayne) Eudey of Elko, NV, Bonita Munoz of Winnemucca, NV, Eddy Davis of Winnemucca, NV, Jim (Robin) Davis of Tupelo, MS, and Joe Davis of Elko, NV; sisters: Donna Barnard of Albuquerque, NM, and Bobbie Henderson of Edmond, OK as well as 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
