She was predeceased by her sisters Lela Place, Bertha Temple and Jeanette Brugler. She is survived by her husband, Richard V. Moore Sr. of Elmira, NY; daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and Jeff Miller Sr. of Cazenovia, NY; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard V. and Cathy Moore, Jr., Ronald and Cindy Moore, Randy and Nelly Moore, all of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Laurie Miller, Jeff Miller, Jr.; Richard Moore III, Jeremy Moore, Adrian Moore, and Brian Moore; sister, Madge Swisher of Elmira, NY; brother, John (Eleanor) Place of Johnson City, NY; sisters, Frances (John) Conrad, Myrle (John) Knapp, Thelma(Bert) Scott, all of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Bette loved music, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and had quite a talent for writing poetry. The Moore family invites their friends and relatives to attend a Reception and Memorial Service honoring their mother and grandmother at the Barrett Funeral Home, Friday, March 22, beginning at 6:00 PM. Interment will take place in the Beaver Meadows Cemetery in Laceyville, PA at the convenience of the family.
