Margaret Centofanti, 94, of Masontown, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Heartland of Preston County in Kingwood.

She was born in Heilwood, PA on December 14, 1919, a daughter of the late Rose (Toth) and Joseph Bubenko. She was raised by Steve and Helen Foray.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a 1938 graduate of Masontown High School. Margaret was a member of St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown. She was also a past member of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, canning and taking care of her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Pierce and husband Raymond of Concord, NC; two sons, Jack Centofanti and wife Dawn of Huntingdon, England and Art Centofanti and wife Karen of Masontown; six grandchildren, Karen Perkinson and husband Page, Michelle Webb and husband Brian, Raymond Pierce III and wife Carolynn, Chantal Fields and husband Kevin, Nathan Centofanti and wife Betsy and Lindsay Wattleworth and husband Colin and ten great grandchildren, Chad and Kyle Perkinson, Adam and Cassiday Webb, Hannah and Kaylee Pierce, Connor Fields and Clementine, Dottie, and Winnie Centofanti.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew Centofanti; one brother, Steve Bubenko and one sister, Mary Radabaugh.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a scripture prayer service at 7 p.m.. A catholic funeral service will be held at the Field Funeral Home on Friday January 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Bufogle officiating. Interment will follow in the Masontown Cemetery.
