William C. Moldenhauer, 73, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, died at 5 a.m.
Sunday at home after an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Town of Liberty, Manitowoc County, the Rev. Samuel Kugler officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Moldenhauer was born Dec. 1, 1887, in the Town of Liberty, son of the
late Ernest and Paulina Feichtner Moldenhauer. He died in the same place
he was born.
He married Ella Fischer June 21, 1917, at Trinity Church and they farmed
in the township since. He was a member of the Webster School Board there
for 17 years, a member of the Men's Club of the church and also on the
Cemetery Board of the township. He was a trustee of the church for nine
years.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Oscar at home, Howard of Rt. 1.
Manitowoc, and Paul of Lake Geneva, Walworth County; two daughters, Mrs.
Vernon Vetter of Valders and Mrs. William Schramm of Rt. 1, Manitowoc and
Carl of Huntington, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Rusch of Wausau and Mrs.
Emma Glasby of Curtiss, Clark County, and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Farley Funeral Home, Valders, after 3 p.m. Tuesday
until noon Wednesday when the casket will be moved to the church where
the body may be viewed from 12:30 p.m. until noon Wednesday when the
