Funeral services for George A. Bailey, 93, of Bristow, Ind., father of A. R. Bailey, a teacher at Edison Elementary School in Hammond, were held Tuesday afternoon in Tell City. Burial was in Birdseye.
Mr. Bailey died Sunday at home.
Besides his son, Mr. Bailey is survived by his widow, Nancy; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Denning also of Bristow; a brother, Peter, of Southern Indiana, and two Calumet Region relatives, a niece, Mrs. C.K. Wingeard of Hammond, and a nephew, Forest Scott of Griffith.
