Mrs. Maria G. Schnidt died at her home in the north part of this city at about 7 o'clock on Monday morning last after an illness of about three weeks. Maria McFadden was born in Gilbert(sic), Ill. May 21, 1859. She came to Sycamore with her parents when she was a small child. She was married to Ed. Schnidt on April 16, 1882. He survives with the following named children: Mrs. F. W. Spiers, Eddie, Hazel, Joe, Willie, Nellie and Charlie. The funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church this Wednesday at 10 a.m. and the interment will be in Mt. Carmel cemetery.
