Grandpa E was a sweet soul. Although he had a dark look about him, I was his favorite (or I thought I was).
Jobs I knew he did included: land surveyor, police man (rent-a-cop), a post man (the walking route in St. Pete), and a limo driver. He even had a safari "pith" helmet. His eyes were so light blue that he hated having his picture taken because they turned out white. He had a small wood workshop in the back yard. I even briefly remember the old 2 story house where we small kids took an outside shower after the beach and a claw footed iron tub was upstairs. His birthday was St. Patrick's Day.
Children: son, Jack and daughter, Betty Engelhart Riggsbee.
Stepchildren: sons, Paul and Alan Ather and daughter, Janice Ather.
