Born in Tokyo, Japan on August 8,1962. Preceeding him in death are his parents Homer Sr & Emma Roades; Survived by his family: Wife: Dana, children: Carl J. Roades & wife Christi, Aletha L. Sanchez, Zachariah N. Roades, Destiny Roades, Grandchildren: Taylor M. Roades, Carl James Roades. Siblings: Billie Breckel & husband Millard, Margaret McLachlan & husband Argyle, Carla McDonald & husband Scott: Also surviving Dusty are many many friends of the EMS and Fire Dept family; from South Houston, Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, LIFE FLIGHT, along with many other surrounding areas and private carriers.

A Vistitation was held on Thursday, Aug 4, @ First Baptist of South Houston from 5-8. On Friday Aug 5. 2011 @ 10:00am. A Celebration Ceremony Honoring Dusty's Life was held @ First Baptist of South Houston followed with interment at Forest Park East Cemetery.
