Final Rites Held For Mrs. Mary Lang
Mrs. Mary Lang, 85, died Thursday, February 9, at the Waseca Memorial Hospital. Death was due to a heart ailment. She had been in failing health for the past three years.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Janesville, with the Msgr. F. T. English officiating. The Arnoldt Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Neal McGonagle, Floyd Dumbeck, Herb Finley, Joe Keeley, Willard Glynn and Roderick Joyce.
Mrs. Lang was born May 2, 1870, the daughter of James and Katherine Vaughn. She came to Minnesota from Montello, Wis., when she was three years old. She became the bride of Andrew Lang, March 13, 1894 at St. Ann's Church in Janesville.
Daughters surviving are Mrs. Mary Dardis of Kildeer, N. D., Mrs. Esther McGonalge of Waseca, Mrs. Irene Maddan of Austin, Mrs. Margaret Francis of Edmund, Wis., Mrs. Cecelia Dardis of Waseca, Mrs. Nellie Bruessel of Medford and Mrs. Genevieve Farley of Waseca. A son, Joe Lang, resides at Medford. There are 23 surviving grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A brother Dennis Vaughn and a sister Agnes Baldwin also survive.
