WEALTHY MEXICAN OF CASTILLIAN BLOOD DIES IN CALIFORNIA

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 18.--Don Arturo Bandini, one of the last members of a distinguished Spanish Family which traced its history back to Castilian days in Mexico, died here yesterday. He came to San Francisco from Pasadena several weeks ago, when his health broke under the strain of managing the $7,000,000 estate of his sister, Mrs. Arcadia Bandini de Baker, who died intestate in Los Angeles.
Don Arturo saw Los Angeles grow from a pueblo. His wife, Helen Elliott Bandini, who died a year ago, was a writer of California history. He was widely known as a yachtsman and horseman.
