Dorothy J. Forsyth Schindler, 81, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2003 at home.
She was the widow of Harry V. Schindler and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving are two sons, Michael D. Schindler of Camp Hill and Donald R. Schindler of Harrisburg; three daughters, Nannette M. Harder of New Palm Bay, FL, Kathryn A. Croll of Dillsburg and Harriet R. Taylor of Wellsville; one sister, Marian L. Henry of Harrisburg; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 6, in Neumyer Funeral Home, Inc. Private burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethesda Mission, 611 Reily Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102.
