Marion Dean Adams, 77, of Mooresville, formerly of Bedford, died Monday at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.
Born October 30, 1925, in Bedford, he was the son of Ernest Clyde and Luvia Ruth (Hollowell) Adams. He married Norma Rose Box on February 20, 1948, and she survives.
He owned Marion Adams Floor-Covering Co.,Inc., in Mooresville for 36 years, retiring in 1985, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the South Pacific during World War II.
He attended the Plainfield Christian Church in Plainfield and was a member and past president of Mooresville Lions Club. Survivors include his wife of Mooresville; two sons, Ernest Ralph Adams and Bradley Kent Adams, one brother, James E., one half-sister Maralou and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 9, at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
