Charlotte Kay Tomlinson, age 70, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center – Cooper in Saginaw, following a lingering illness. She was the daughter of the late Jacob & Winifred (Hickey) Holzworth in Caro, and graduated with the Caro High School class of 1958.
She was united in marriage with Dale H. Tomlinson on July 5, 1958. Charlotte began employment shortly after her graduation at the Caro Regional Center in housekeeping, retiring after thirty-five years of service in 1992. She was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church and during her free time she loved being with her family, collecting lighthouses, cookbooks and baking.
Left to cherish Charlotte's memory is her husband of over fifty-three years, Dale H. Tomlinson of Caro; three children and their spouses, Kelly & Steve Skrivanek of Denver, Colorado, Timothy Tomlinson of Caro, Scott & Shawndel Tomlinson of Caro; eight grandchildren; two brothers and their spouses, Charles & Pat Holzworth of Caro, Konrad & Kathleen Holzworth of Sturgis, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by two brothers, George Holzworth and Elwood Sharp.
