Ernest Leo Babb passed away on May 31, 2007 at his home in Heber City, Utah. He was born June 1, 1917 in Deepwater, Missouri to Arthur Leo and Mary Ann Ross Babb. He married Nona Louise Johnson Dec. 26, 1939. They were later sealed in the Provo Temple. Leo worked for Heckett Engineering for 35 years as a heavy equipment operator. He also serviced in the military during World War II and the Korean War. Leo was preceded in death by his son Robert J. Babb and his daughter-in-law Inez Nielson Babb and his sister Barbara Knox. He is survived by his loving wife, four grandchildren and their spouses, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Tues., June 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Heber 4th Ward, 176 W. 500 S., there will be a viewing Mon. evening, June 4th from 6-8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the funeral. A special thanks to Harvey and Sherry Horner, Doug and Stephanie Smith and Alpine Hospice. During Leo's illness they were a great support to the family in time of need. Interment Heber City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Alternative Society of Utah Mortuary.
