Funeral services for Mrs. O. C. Anderson, who died Sunday morning, October 25, were held from trhe D. W. Boetzer funeral home at Chatfield and the Root Prairie Lutheran church on Wednesday October 28, with Rev. O. J. Nestande officiating.
Mrs. Oline Anderson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ole Gulbrandson, was born in Norway, April 28, 1863, and came with her parents to the United States when she was only a year old. She was united in marriage to Ole C. Anderson on March 17, 1885. Mr. Anderson died August 11, 1919.
She is survived by the following four sons and two daughters; Gilman Anderson of York, Ole Anderson of Whalan, Edwin Anderson of Fountain, Ilot Anderson of Chatfield, Mrs. Anton Lange of Chatfield and Mrs. Edwin Danielson of Chatfield. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One grandson; Leonard Jacobson of LaCrosse made his home with her since he was five months old.
