She was a beauty operator and David a serviceman.
As of 1942, they were residing in Redondo Beach, California; she as a housewife and he as a serviceman. The had three children.

Resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2000 in Torrance. She was born on October 24, 1914 in Illinois and lived in Redondo over 70 years. Bertha was a past member of the Redondo Woman's Club and the Redondo RotaryAnns. She also was a long time volunteer for the "Meals on Wheels" program of the Redondo Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave, and a son, Glenn; and is survived by a son, _____ Blausey of Anaheim; daughter, Patricia _____ of Costa Mesa; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; also a sister, Leona _____ of Downey; and brother, _____Stroot of Lake Arrowhead. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the White & Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Monday morning, August 21, 2000, at the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance. Entombment will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
