CLUFF FUNERAL
Funeral services for Harry Cluff, who passed away at the N.P. Hospital on March 12, were held at the Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon last week, with Rev. Wenzel officiating. Mr. Cluff's health which had been poor for some time, failed steadily following an operation about a year ago. He was born in Kankakee, Ill., coming here with his parents in 1903, and on Dec. 24, 1924 was united in marriage to Mabel McFarlane at Crookston. He is survived by his wife, four children, Wallace, Delores, and Verna, his mother of Wyanet, Ill., three brothers, Roy of Weippe, Idaho, Ernest of Klamath Falls, Ore., four sisters, Mrs. Ada Benson, Hastings, Neb., Myrtle of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Evelyn Olson, Tenstrike, and Mrs. Dorothy Richmond, Wyanet, Ill., his father, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Alex Cyr, Charlie Hofer, Sid Kruger, Clem Puffe, Delbert Tufford and Clarence Wild. Interment was in the Blackduck cemetery. Relatives who came to attend the services were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cluff, Myrtle Cluff, Ernest McFarlane and son Arlen of Oslo, Mrs. Orville Sherlock of St. Paul, Mrs. Carl Fodness of Stephen and Mrs. Mabel Hoyum of Kelliher, sister of Mr. Fodness. The family is deeply grateful for the kindness shown by their many friends who felt keen sympathy for Mr. Cluff in his illness and extend that sympathy to his bereaved family.
