Isaac M. Raymond, jr., 51, son-in-law of the late W. J. Connell of Omaha,
died Monday of infection of the blood stream at a hospital here. He became ill last Thursday and was taken to the hospital Sunday. He was vice-president of Raymond Brothers-Clark company, wholesale grocers of Lincoln and Scotts-bluff.
Born in Lincoln, he attended Lincoln High school and was prominent in athletics at the University of Nebraska prior to graduation in 1900, having won letters in foot-ball, baseball and tennis. With Earl Farnsworth of Grand Island he once held the state tennis doubles championship.
Mr. Raymond was a member of the Scottish Rite, University club, Lincoln Country club and Phi Delta Theta.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marian Connell Raymond:
two children, Carolyn, 7, and Billie, 9; his mother, Mrs. I. M. Raymond,
Sr., Chicago; a sister, Eleanor Raymond, Chicago, and two brothers, Donald, Chicago, and Will, Lincoln.
