Mrs. Smith died Sunday, Aug. 7 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Mrs. Smith was born July 2, 1926 in Osage, Ark. to Winfield and Roma (Bell) Morris.

She grew up in Arkansas and received her education in Dog Branch, Ark.

On Oct. 14, 1942 she and Ray Smith were married in Berryville, Ark.

Mrs. Smith worked at Sears in sales for 20 years until she retired in 1990. She was a member of the Church of God Holiness in Coweta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winfield and Roma Morris; two sisters, Thelma Bell and Millie Faye; four brothers, Clifford, Troy, Glenn and Dean Morris and one granddaughter, Tracy.

A family visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 210 S. Broadway.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 at the Church of God Holiness in Coweta for Dorothy Mae Smith, 85, of Broken Arrow.

Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery under the direction of Wright Funeral Home.
