Elynor (Feininger) Ertl was born September 22, 1926 to Edward Feininger and Mary T (Privratsky) Feininger. She attended Dickinson grade and high school. On October 26, 1946, she married George Ertl in Lead, SD. They later settled in California. She had four children, Hank Ertl, Paulette (Ertl) Jaekel, Joyce (Ertl) Nicholson and Tim Ertl. At the time of her passing she also had nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Elynor worked for many years at the phone company and also JC Pennys. She enjoyed ceramics and made many beautiful items. She also enjoyed cake decorating for many years. Elynor was loving wife, mom, grandma and greatgrandma, and aunt and Godmother.
