ALLARD, Rachael Marie , aged 2 years, was murdered by her father, Jerry Lee Allard on the 31st of March, 1992, at his residence, 2 McGibney Rd., Mt. Vernon, Ohio. It was a tragedy creating a whirlwind of sad controversy for Knox County. Some aspects of this story may never be known or understood. She was born Aug. 2, 1989, in Mount Gilead, to Jerry Allard and Karen (Berry) Allard. Surviving are her father, two brothers, (omitted) Allard and (omitted) Allard, both of Mount Vernon; maternal grandparents, (omitted) and (omitted) of Marengo, and (omitted) Bockover of Marengo; and paternal grandparents, (omitted) and (omitted)Hall of Sunbury. Her mother, Karen Marie Allard, is deceased. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, wher the funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev.
