MRS. WAVIE AMBROSE
Mrs. Wavie Dawson Ambrose, a native of Morgan county, died Sunday in Akron, Ohio, after an illness of 15 months.
Born here 65 years ago, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie Hobday Dawson.
She was a member of the Akron Church of Christ.
Surviving besides her husband, T. D. Ambrose, are two children: Talmadge Ambrose, Akron; and Mrs. Ray Cope. Four brothers, Clarence, Columbus, Ohio; Calvin Dawson, Great Cacapon; Emil Dawson, Omps; John B. Dawson, Berkeley Springs; and four sisters--Mrs. Delvie Barker and Mrs. Ruth Youngblood, Berkeley Springs; Mrs. Margaret Miller, Akron; Mrs. Burl Ambrose, Martinsburg.
The body arrived at the Parks Funeral Home about noon Wednesday.
Services will be held today, Thursday at 2 p.m. at Union Chapel with the Rev. Roy Hedrick and the Rev. Charles Ambrose, of Parkersburg, officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
