She was the first of seven children. She graduated from Gardner High School in 1942. She was married to William P. Henry, Jr. on Dec. 3, 1942. She was mother to four children, Carolyn Ann, Steven Michael, Cheryl Darlene, and Roxanne Lynn. She was the receptionist and bookkeeper for Bill's company, Overland Park Heating and Plumbing for its duration. She was also the manager of the evening shift in the camera department at Intercollegiate Press (a yearbook company) in Mission, KS. She was there for 23 years.

She loved working in the yard with many flowerbeds throughout. Her COPD curtailed many of her loves. The last few years spent within reach of her oxygen tubing. She was loving, funny and a good friend and mother until the end. She is missed by all who knew her.

She left this world on January 6, 1999. She left behind all four children, 4 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren, and 5 great, greatgrandchildren. We miss her still.
