Arthur O. Chamberlain, sixty years of age, of Kewaunee, Illinois, formerly of Hampshire, passed away Tuesday morning at St. Francis Hospital, Kewaunee, after a long illness. He was born Nov. 25, 1895, at Laura, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Kathryn Fitzpatrick of Hampshire May 21, 1924. He made his home in Hampshire until 1935 and then moved to Toulon where he made his home until August, 1955 when he moved to Kewaunee, Illinois. He is survived by his widow Kathryn of Hampshire and two sons, Eugene and Richard of Hampshire, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, his parents and one brother. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 A.M. from St. Charles-Borromeo Catholic Church. Rosary at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday with the Rev. Father Sylvester J. Eye officiating, with burial at St. Charles cemetery Hampshire, Ill. Graveside Military services will be in charge of Haderer-Eineke American Legion Post No. 680.
