William C. Jones, 83, of Gulfport died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003 in Gulfport. Mr. Jones was born in Yazoo City, MS and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for thirteen years. He was the owner of The Movers, Inc. since 1980. He was a member of the Family Worship Center in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-seven years, Evelyn Delores Jones; two sons, Ronald Douglas Jones and William E. Jones; and his parents, William E. and Donna May Waller Jones.
He is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Jones and Cindy Jones Wing, both of Gulfport; three sons, Gerald K. Jones of St. Rose, LA, Joseph A. Jones and Steven T. Jones, both of Gulfport; three brothers; three sisters; twenty grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Friday evening from 5 until 8 P.M. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 at the Family Worship Center, 2800 7th Ave., Gulfport where friends may call from 10 A.M. until the service. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
