She was a lifelong resident of Lee County and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Eliza Cope. She is survived by one son, one daughter, seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eight brothers and two sisters.
