She was born to Elmer and Florence Raymond on November 9, 1926 in Sharon, Vt. She was one of 5 children.
She attended school in Sharon, and graduated from South Royalton High School, and from there she graduated with an Associates Degree from Castleton State College in Castleton, Vt.
She married Byron A Kennett in 1946, and produced 6 children.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Arlene Griffith in 2009, and two sisters previously, Velma and Vera.
Survivors of Marjorie are her brother, Robert Raymond of Sharon, Shirley of Connecticut, and Verna of Illinois.
Additionally she had several half brothers, neices and nephews. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren enriched her life.
She is also survived by her sons, William and life companion, Cathy Rock, of Claremont, NH, Maurice "Moe" and his wife Lois of Plainfield, NH, Larry and his wife Allison, of Canaan, NH, Arnold and his wife Tammy of Elizabethton, Tenn, Peter and wife Meghan, world travelers, stationed overseas.
A graveside service and internment will be held on August 24, 2011, at the Vermont Veteran's Cemetary in Randolph, Vt.
