LOLA GRACE BLIGH
EVANSTON - Visitation for Lola G. Bligh was conducted Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at the Manila Latter-day Saints Church in Manila, Utah. Graveside services followed at the Manila Cemetery.
Mrs. Bligh, 83, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Evanston.
She was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Rock Springs, the daughter of Orlin Frances and Opal May (Bingham) Fackrell. She went to school in Bridger Valley and worked in the hayfields with her brothers.
She married David Bligh on Jan. 24, 1955, in Evanston. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1990, in Manila.
She worked hard as a cook in restaurants and cleaned motels.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Her interests included taking care of her family, spending time with her friends, brothers and sisters, jigsaw puzzles, reading, crossword puzzles, baking pies and cake decorating.
She is survived by a sister, Neta Bateman; brother, Donald Fackrell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Bligh; baby son; parents, Orlin Frances and Opal Bingham Fackrell; brothers, Carl, Royal and Frances; and sister, Leah.
