From the Oregonian, 3 Apr. 1949:

Funeral services for Cpl. Louis A. Bosso, who lost his life on Okinawa April 3, 1945, will be held Monday at 9 a. m. in the chapel of Edward Holman and Son. The rosary will be recited Sunday at 7 p. m. Rev. Joseph F. Troy, C. S. P., of St. Philip Neri church, will be the officiating minister. Interment will be in Rose City Cemetery. Corporal Bosso was born in Portland and was graduated from Woodstock grade school and Benson Polytechnic.

He leaves his father, Ernesto Bosso, and a brother, Joseph L. Bosso, both of Portland.
