Stover Man Killed In Crash At Eldon
ELDON, Mo. (AP) — John Riley Sager, 40, of Stover, Mo., died early today in the crash of the automobile he was driving on Route 52 three miles west of Eldon.
His passenger, James Lowell Taylor, 21, of Stover, was taken to Jefferson City Memorial Hospital with head injuries and cuts and bruises.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said Sager apparently lost control of his car.

Stover, Mo., Motorist, 40, Loses Control of Car.

Eldon, Mo. (AP) — John Riley Sager, 40, Stover, Mo., died early today in the crash of the automobile he was driving on M-52 three miles west of here.
His passenger, James Lowell Taylor, 21, of Stover, was taken to Jefferson City Memorial hospital with head injuries and cuts and bruises.
The Missouri highway patrol said Sager apparently lost control of his 10-year-old car.

John Rilev Sager, 39, Stover, was fatally injured in an automobile accident near Eldon, Wednesday. He owned Sager's Garage, Versailles.
He was born July 23, 1923, in Paris, Mo.
Surviving are his wife, Lois, of the home; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Davis, Thompson, Mo.; a foster son, Melvin Taylor, of the home; his mother-in-law. Mrs. Ollie Watson, of the home; a step sister, Mrs. Dorothy Stewart, Moberly.
He was a World War II Veteran.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Paris.
Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Paris.
The body will lie in state at the Scrivner-Stevinson Home, Stover, after 9 a.m. Thursday.
