MALM FUNERAL TO BE AT FOSTER'S; DIES AT OAKDALE

Mrs. Alice Malm, 28, died Saturday at 3:50 p.m. at the sanitarium in Oakdale. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Foster funeral home, with the Rev. J. J. Share, Methodist pastor officiating. Burial will be made in Oakwood cemetery, at Stratford.

She leaves her husband, August Malm, in Sweden, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Carl Peterson, Thompson; Mrs. Ed Fortune, city; Mrs. Clarence Raynor, Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Sam Anderson, Stanhope; Mrs. Orville Balsey, city; Carl Carlson, city; Leonard Carlson, Jewell; Arthur Carlson, city.

Her parents, four children, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. She was born near Stratford and attended the rural schools near there. For the past four years she had lived in Webster City.

Mrs. Alice Malm

Alice Otilia Carlson was born July 10, 1911, at Stanhope, and passed away Oct. 21, 1939, at Oakdale, after a lingering illness. Aug. 11, 1927, she was united in marriage to August Malm, and to this union four children were born, all of them dying in infancy. Her father, mother, two sisters and one brother also have preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her sad passing five sisters and three brothers. They are: Mrs. C. A. Peterson, of Thompson; Mrs. C. H. Rainer, Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Sam Anderson, of Stanhope; Mrs. Eddie Fortune, and Mrs. Orville Balsey, of Webster City. The brothers are: Lenard Carlson, of Jewell; Carl and Arthur Carlson, of Webster City, and also a large number of other relatives and friends.
