Scott City - Mrs. Chester (Ruby Alyene) Plourde, 63 years old, of Scott City, died early today, Jan. 18, 1985, in St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 1, 1921, at Jackson, daughter of Elvin and Hattie Scheper Headrick.
On Dec. 11, 1945, she married Mr. Plourde.
Mrs. Plourde had lived here 20 years, moving from Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish.
Surviving are her husband; son, Clyde Greene, Cape Girardeau; foster son, Larry McIntire, of the home; brothers, Calvin and Harry Headrick, both of Neelys Landing; sister, Mrs. Jewell Helmer, Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
A daughter, Mrs. Delores Greene, preceded her in death.
The body is at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Seyer officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
