9/22/1966- Tuttle Times:

Charles Carroll Campbell, 66, of 1228 Michigan Ave, Chickasha, died Friday, Sept 16, of a heart attack in Grady Memorial hospital. He was born 1/31/1900 at Amber. He grew up in the Amber & Tuttle areas, having attended school at both places. He married miss Lora May Biram 12/22/1919. He farmed and raised stock in the Amber & Verden communities. He quit farming and did carpenter work. In 1954, he became custodian of a junior high school in Chickasha, where he worked until he had a heart attack in Feb 11, 1962. Two weeks later, he had a stroke which left him partly paralized. Mr Campbell was a member of the Primitive Baptist church in Amber. Survivors are his wife, Mrs Lora Campbell, of the home, a son, Hayes Campbell of Hastings, Mich, a sister, Mrs Cecil Githens of Casa Grande, Ariz, 2 granddaughters, & 1 great granddaughter. Services were held at Sevier's Funeral Chapel, Monday, Sept 19, with Elder J.E. Newman of Duncan officiating. Music was provided by a choir. Pallbearers were D.A. Bell, Lawrence Hedges, Ezra Potts, Buel McClain, J.C. Nickell, & Wayne Spies. Interment was at the Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier's funeral home, Chickasha.
