She was know as Gram to me and she was one of the most kindest and trusting person on the face of this earth. She took me in and let me live in her house with no questions asked. I love her as my own. She loved doing word finding books, she could never get enough of them. I am so glad she got to see her great grandson Ethan , born of Robyn her grand daughter to be born. In a private conversation in the year 2000 , she once told me,, i just want five more years, i am just hoping for five more years. Well being the specialloving human being she was, she got twice than what she wished for, plus one. I will never ever forget this lady nor will i ever think of her other then as family. We used to stay up till 4am chatting in the kitchen. I would have done anything for this lady. She lived thru a lot , hated the heat, hated the ice cold winters of Alberta, but never complained. I will always miss and remember and love her. She was one of a special breed,, hard to find people as trusting and loving as Gram. I was devistated to hear of her leaving this earth. May she rest in eternal peace forever, she really deserved it, i only wish she were still here. She left a deep void in my heart. She was 78 years old. Her birthday being the end of June, she would have been 79, wish she would have passed that and got even more then her wishes. Loved always.Mrs. Dolores Doreen Draper of Mirror, Alberta passed away in the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre on Friday May 20, 2011 at the age of 78 years.
