Betty Ann Hurst, 80, of Pennsboro, WV, died Aug. 10, 2011 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. She was born April 24, 1931 in Pennsboro, the daughter of the late James M. and Celia Elizabeth Lamp Ankrom. Betty was baptized at Arnold's Creek Christian Church, Deep Valley. She was a homemaker and an avid bingo player.She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Sue Summers (Tom) of Pennsboro, and Angela F. Miller (Mike Mitchell) of Harrisville; one son, Jeff Hurst (Brenda) of Pennsboro; seven grandchildren, Tommy Summers, Jennifer Reed, Regina Summers, Steve Jones, Leslie Hardman, Hope Summers, and Quentin Hurst; thirteen great-grandchildren, and her loving dog Oscar.She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lee Hurst; brother, John H. Ankrom; and sisters, Mildred Shields, Margaret L. DeLancey and Pauline Monroe.Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2011 at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Rev. Dan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Masonic Memorial Park.
