ROBERT LEE QUALLS, SR.

Robert Lee Qualls Sr., Age 70, of Baxter Springs, Kansas passed from this life Monday, August 1, 2001 at his home in Baxter Springs.

Robert was born August 12, 1940 in Cardin, Oklahoma to the union of Lee Raymond and Lula Pauline (Williams) Qualls. He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1958-1961. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 408 in Baxter Springs. Robert retired in 1999, where he spent 40 years selling commercial advertisement signs for Tri-State Printing, formerly known as Roberts Enterprises. He enjoyed playing the guitar and carpentry work.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, one son Russell Qualls and one brother Ricky Qualls. Survivors include two sons Bobby Qualls of Baxter Springs, KS and Rex Qualls and wife Michelle of Baxter Springs, KS; two brothers, Roger Qualls and Raymond Qualls of Baxter Springs, KS; four sisters, Louise Wade, of Baxter Springs, Nancy Falling of Glendale, AZ, Linda Edens of Baxter Springs, and Anita Flowers of Erie, KS. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family willl receive friends Thrusday, August 4, 2011 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel. Gravesite burial will be August 12, 2011 at Baxter Springs Cemetery.
