MANILA, Utah—Funeral services for Heidi Lynn Muir were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 1993 at the LDS Church in Manila. Bishop Jim Briggs conducted the services. Interment was in the Manila Cemetery.
Miss Muir, 5, of Manila, Utah was dead on arrival at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County at 7:42 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 1993.
According to Deputy Sweetwater County Coroner Byron Willingham, Heidi was accidentally struck by a vehicle that was backing up in the driveway of the Doug Beck home in Daggett County, Utah, at about 6 p.m. Saturday, April 3. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance and was pronounced dead from multiple internal head and chest injuries that were sustained from the accident.
She was born Aug. 14, 1987 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Clayton D. and Penny Beck Muir. She was presently attending kindergarten in Manila. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her parents, Clay D. and Penny Lee Beck Muir of Manila; one brother, Rusty Alton Muir of Manila; one sister, Vicky Lee Muir of Manila; her paternal grandparents, Rusty and Louis Muir of Manila and Mrs. Lynn East of MacKay, Idaho; her maternal grandparents, Duane and Patricia Beck of Birch Creek, Utah; maternal grandmother, Myrtle Beck of McKinnon; paternal great-grandmothers, Zina Beckstead, Ogden, Utah and Ferl Smith, Green River; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
